I now need to pick up the cheapest one available to throw gtr rims and lowering springs at it. The rwd conversion and manual swap would come later
Edit: Apparently they are already available in Rwd only based on the comments.

Plz do this. For science

Are you feeling ok?
It’s hideous

Unless it was AWD these were all RWD, no? I always thought that they were the G35/37 on stilts.

They always have. What do you mean by RWD conversion tho? I thought they were 350 z /g based, with a v8 option too.

It always has. And they sound SO GOOD. Fight me. Just don’t look inside.

They were available with a V8 too, though.

waitaminute, when did our resident juke owner buy one?

Thats the ex35/37, the fx is more like an m35/37/45 I believe.

i thought they were only available in awd even though the architecture is g35. Never actually looked into it though

I am a goof and assumed they were all awd

Counterpoint. It has always looked amazing.

These do look good with the GTR rims and lowering. And its basically a 350z, so there's a robust aftermarket.

I’ve always like these. I think it’s the RWD coupe proportions. It’s certainly the best execution of the 4 door coupe CUV thing. And it was way ahead of that trend.

Applicable to almost any infiniti from that era

One of my favorite cars in Midnight club dub edition LA remix (lol long ass name) was the infiniti FX45. It is a rare site to see a V8 FX on the road but I have always thought they look excellent, with that low slung roof line and long hood.
Sounds proper as well;

Nope , they are all FXs.

still really like them in that “p!$$ed off jack- o- lantern” orange

Always been the only crossover I’ve liked the look of. Everything else I just see a potato on wheels.

Do it. They are fun to drive. Get a later one so you don’t fall victim to the “herpes” dash. Look it up. Manual swap isnt bad, but you need a robust clutch , these SUVs are heavy, and a tuned ecu . They have their awkward problems but very reliable in the long run.

I <3 my FX45. Best vehicle purchase I’ve ever made. Have had it 3 years, has asked nothing of me aside from basic maintenance. Haven’t even had the acoustic cover off of the engine yet.
We’re on a road trip vacation at the moment. I could have been here in 2.5 hours but instead I took the long way and got here in 6. At well over 100kmh through twisty mountain roads. Probably taking the same route home. Epic.
(Route 3 to 3a from Hope to Kelowna, Aka The Crowsnest. Absolutely epic drive, and the FX sticks like glue as it screams into the abyss.)

The V8 FX45 is awd only. The base model FX35 was a 6 and rwd, with awd as an option iirc.

Gps screwed me and disregarded the route I had set so ended up coming back on the Coquihalla, of Highway through Hell fame. Wasn’t all bad, set the cruise to 15 0 and just steered. The decent from the summit is batshit, was coming off that thing at 100mph like woah.

I agree. Pretty.
